The Society maintains close links with other groups in Paris, whose vocation is also the promotion of various facets of Scottish culture, past and present.






Association Franco-Ecossaise


The Paris Branch of the Franco-Scottish Society was founded in 1895. Its aims are to promote good relations between Scotland and France, principally by the exchange of goodwill visits, lectures, research work in the historical and cultural as well as economic relationship between the two countries, etc., and to welcome Scottish students.







RSCDS Paris Branch


The Paris Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society was created in 1984 in order to promote Scottish Country Dancing and to offer the opportunity to learn and practise Scottish Country Dances in France.

The Branch organises classes and half-day schools for beginners, intermediate or advanced dancers.

There is a dance every Monday night from 8pm to 10pm and once a month on Saturday nights.

Alumni of the University of Edinburgh in France (A.U.E.F.).


The aim of the society is to promote links between former students of the University of Edinburgh living in France or passing through France. Anyone with an interest in the University of Edinburgh is welcome to be a member.

Clan MacKenzie.

The aim of the French branch of the Clan MacKenzie Society is the study of the history, genealogy, geography and culture of Scotland and its tradititions, along with encouraging the continuation of the long standing close ties and friendship between the a people of Scotland and France under the guidance of the Clan MacKenzie of Scotland.
